This seasonal window and minimum quantity help ensure the safest possible transit conditions for your chicks. Warmer ambient temperatures and adequate group size allow chicks to maintain proper body heat during shipping, significantly improving survival and reducing stress.

Shipping and Farm Pickup
Hatching eggs are available for local farm pickup in Sylva, NC or shipping within the United States.
Shipping is offered March through October when temperatures are generally safest for egg transport.
Eggs shipped during July and August may experience higher temperatures during transit, which can reduce embryo viability and hatch success. Customers ordering during these months should be aware of this increased risk.
Eggs are carefully packaged to help minimize damage during shipping.
