This seasonal window and minimum quantity help ensure the safest possible transit conditions for your chicks. Warmer ambient temperatures and adequate group size allow chicks to maintain proper body heat during shipping, significantly improving survival and reducing stress.

Shipping and Farm Pickup
Day-old chicks are available for local farm pickup in Sylva, NC or shipping April through September, when temperatures are safest for transporting young birds.
