Black Australorp chicks are one of the most dependable and productive chicken breeds available for backyard flocks and homesteads. Known for their calm temperament, glossy black plumage with a beautiful green sheen, and outstanding egg production, Australorps are a favorite among poultry keepers looking for reliable brown egg layers.

Starting with day-old chicks allows poultry keepers to raise birds from hatch and develop a flock adapted to their environment and care practices.

These chicks are sold straight run, meaning they are unsexed and may grow into either hens or roosters.
